How the service works
Creating a Patient Card

On a smartphone or PC, create a patient card, indicate the location of the tumor and add other important diagnostic data

Photographing

You take a photo of the tumor using a smartphone with a connected handyscope/DermLite dermatoscope. The snapshot goes to the server database and is not stored on the device

Micro and macro photography

You can take overview images and link microimages of the tumor taken at different periods of time to it

Cancer risk assessment

Using the “Artificial Intelligence” module on your computer, you evaluate a tumor for its risk of malignancy and receive a score in the range from 0 to 1 where:

  • 0,0-0,20 - the program considers the neoplasm NOT suspicious
  • 0,21-0,49 - the program considers the tumor more suspicious than not
  • 0,50-1,00 - the program considers the tumor to be DEFINITELY suspicious
Evaluation by parameters

Using the Moleanalyser module, your tumor will be assessed according to the following parameters: Geometry / Asymmetry / Borders and irregularities / Color / Structure / Area / Perimeter / Diameter


Reports can be saved as a PDF document, printed, or sent by mail
Comparison of neoplasms

Artificial intelligence automatically compares photographs taken at different times and detects changes in the size of the formation. You can make a report for images taken at different periods to assess the evolution of the tumor

Technical requirements for working with the melanomenet.ru platform

The service is a network solution that combines a PC, a smartphone, a handyscope/DermLite dermatoscope, a local Wi-Fi network, software and a remote server with a database. Internet access is required for the service to operate.

  • Personal Computer

    (Windows OS - 4GB, Processor - 2GHz, free disk space 50GB) with installed software that allows you to maintain a patient database, search for photos and request an assessment of a tumor, generate reports

  • Mobile device iPhone or iPad,

    with an installed application from the AppStore, which is used to obtain photos of tumors and transfer them to a PC and to a database for subsequent analysis and storage

  • Digital dermatoscope handyscope/Dermlite,

    which is equipped with a universal mount for combination with a smartphone camera, allows for dermoscopic examination with and without polarization, open and closed, with an optical magnification of 10x (the total magnification when used in conjunction with an iPhone is 20x)

  • Local Wi-Fi network

    ensures communication between a PC and a smartphone: uploading dermoscopic images taken on a dermatoscope from a smartphone to a PC for subsequent analysis

An additional ruler on the screen makes it easy to determine the size of neoplasms. With just one tap, you “freeze” a skin area, so that you can then examine it in detail on the iPhone's big screen.
A micrograph of the neoplasm made with Dermlite can be sent for analysis by Artificial Intelligence. As a result of the assessment Ai, the risk of malignancy of the neoplasm is revealed. It does not serve as a diagnosis, but allows the doctor to make the right decision.
